Une intervention de Thomas Spencer dans le cadre de la conférence "Environmental Bonds 2013 - Capital markets and the green economy" organisée par Environmental Finance.

Présentation [en anglais] :

"The green bond market has started the new year with a bang. A $1 billion issue from the IFC in mid-February to fund 'climate-friendly' projects in developing countries was followed within days by a $500 million bond from the Export- Import Bank of Korea. Both issues were heavily oversubscribed and attracted mainstream investors as well as 'green' investors.

High-level speakers at Environmental Bonds 2013 will discuss these new issues in detail, analyse the risks and opportunities of this emerging new asset class and examine the potential of the bond market to fund the shift to a lowcarbon economy."
